Fishing on Eagle Mountain Lake has been crazy this week, went from excellent to fair and then back to excellent. The white bass bite continues to be excellent with easy limits being caught.
The catfish bite is also excellent and good to excellent numbers of blue catfish are being caught most days. We had a couple of days that we had to work for it after the cold front but still ended up with good numbers overall. I suspect within the next day or two things will be much better and we should be into some of the best fishing of the year for numbers of catfish (the cold front last Thursday knocked things back a little).
I had a cancellation for April 30 and May 1st and that is my only weekend open until the last weekend in May if you are interested in fishing.
