What To Bring
- SMALL ice chest for food and drinks (as a general rule, if it would be too large to carry on an airplane it is too large to bring on the boat. We can make exceptions, but please contact is prior to your trip.
- Food and Drinks – During warmer months make sure you bring PLENTY of water
- Sunscreen
- Fishing License
- Sunglasses
What To Wear
- Always bring more clothing than you anticipate needing, even in warmer months. It is always cooler on the water than on land. Often times even in the warmer months people prefer a long sleeve t-shirt or wind jacket over they clothing early in the mornings.
- During cooler months (trophy catfishing) dress in layers and bring something to keep the water off of you (a rainsuit) if available, even if there is no rain in the forecast. Nothing ruins a fishing trip like being wet and cold from boat spray during the colder months. In addition, if I have to drive slowly to keep from splashing a little water on you, then you lose fishing time. Make sure you have a hat to keep your head warm.
- During the cooler months it is a good idea to bring hand warmers. You can get these at Wal-Mart or any sporting goods store.
- During warmer months dress appropriately. Make sure you wear hats, sunscreen and light clothing that protects you from the sun.
