The channel catfish bite continues to be excellent on Eagle Mountain Lake. We are catching good to excellent numbers of channel catfish from one to five pounds daily. This is typical for this time of year and I expect the bite to hold out through the rest of the summer and into September.
The lake is just shy of being full (for now) which has certainly helped the fishing.
The white bass bite is typical for the summer and good to excellent numbers can be caught daily. The channel cat bite has been so good though we have not spent much time at all fishing for white bass.
I have a handful of openings available for June and some July and August dates available as well if anyone wants to get out on Eagle Mountain Lake and catch some catfish or white bass.
I will start doing some night fishing trips soon but for now we are primarily fishing in the mornings.
