Big catfish are starting to show up We went and scouted some new waters this week and hooked a 30+, 20+ and 15+ Lb catfish within thirty minutes of being on the water. We landed a nice mess of smaller fish from one to ten pounds and lost one that was well over fifty pounds at the side of the boat. This all from an area we have never fished before. Needless to say I think there are big things to come in the coming weeks and months.

Water temperatures are still running in the low 60’s so it will only be getting better from here. I suspect that within the next week or two we will see a huge increase in the numbers of trophy catfish being caught.

if you want to catch a big blue catfish, you need to get booked now for December through early February because now is the time.

I have been getting a lot of calls for jug fishing trips lately.I have not been doing these for a while but if you want to get out and catch some big catfish on juglines instead of rod and reel I am certainly open to doing that as well.

I still have Thanksgiving Weekend open for Friday and Saturday so give me a shout if you would like to fish. 817-522-3804

Thanks, Chad
